FAQ:System Security & Disaster Recovery

FAQ | RemitONE

Does RemitONE have a Disaster Recovery Program?

Yes. We use multiple load balanced Virtual Private Servers, with a replicated database backend. This helps to ensure that a simple failure does not disrupt system functionality. In addition to the up-to-the-second replicated database, full database dumps are taken daily, and copied to an offsite location. Each week the entire backup data is copied to a separate site as off-site backup.

In the event of complete server failure, the most recent backup would be used to reconstruct the RemitONE System on another server in the Data Centre.

In the event of the UK Data Centre being lost or inaccessible, the remote location backup could be used to reconstruct the RemitONE System on another of our servers hosted in Singapore, or vice versa.
